Mr Dean Concerning Mr Kirsop

Common for such ailments to be obstinate, none of the remedies I proposed
have been of service, but perhaps the Emplastrum calidum. I observe
however that the plaister has never been so strong as to produce the effects I
wished -- therefore make it stronger, & even apply the Epispastic alone if
↑it be↑ necessary to produce an exudation from the part & on many persons [here?]
the Epispastic will do no more, -- till this be tried I advise farther.
You give me no account of the juice of Prunis &c. try it still if not
yet tried.
