Sal. mar. Hisp. Ʒij Aq. rosar. ℥vj
Aq. cinnam. simpl. ℥ij Solve & p. chartam
cola. S. Cooling Solution two table spoonfulls
to be mixed to half a muchkin of Spring water &
taken at 2 or 3 draughts in the morning before break¬
fast. X Take two ounces of soluble tartar, half an ounce of white sugar, two drachms of Spanish sea-salt, six ounces of rose water, two ounces of cinnamon water; solve and drain through paper. Label: Cooling Solution two table spoonfuls to be mixed to half a muchkin of Spring water and taken at 2 or 3 draughts in the morning before breakfast.
