For Mr George Dunbar.


His case certainly gouty. The bleeding ↑& blistering↑ should
be little employed. for to pains certainly gouty
any where in the extremities nothing but plenty

of flannel. Wherever the gout is certain in the
extremities nothing to be applied but flannel
but if the pain &c. continues in the head leeches a
blistering may be employed with discretion.


The mixture & laxative still proper.
