Letter from 'R. M.', a surgeon in Randalstown, consisting of a covering letter and separate case note, headed 'A Singular Case'. Concerns the case of 'A. B.', a 25-year-old female patient he believes to have contracted 'the venereal virus' through incest with her 20-year-old nephew, with whom she had shared a bed. The disease has also spread to 'C. D.', the woman's sister; C. D.'s husband and infant; and the 2 babies (one of whom has died) of another sister, E.F., due to E.F. sucking C.D.'s breast to relieve pain.
