She also mentions that Magdalane has taken a vomit prescribed by Mr Arrott. Robina, Cullen's daughter, is staying with the family and 'is well Charming all hearts and pleasing all eyes'. The letter is dated 'Friday 7th': as it is part of a sequence from the late summer of 1787, this is September.
