Wooler June 9th. 1785

Dear Sir

Having had frequent opportunity of knowing
the great success attending Your Practice in Physich and
Encouraged by Your Proffered kindness some Years ago -- I take
the Liberty of sending Mrs Cokayne who is the Bearer of this
to Edinburgh, to consult You upon her Ill state of Health
Altho' at present she is much relievd, Yet her Disease so
frequently recurs and assumes such various shapes mostly
of the Spasmodick kind, as to render her Life very uncomfortable
If you can spare Time from Your Hurry of Business to Examine
her, and to Prescribe such things you think most Proper
it will Confer an Eternal Obligation upon Your

Very Respectfull humble Servant

W Cokayne
