Dear Sir

This will be delivered you
by Mr. Bisset who goes to Edinburgh
along with his Brother Mr. James Bisset
a Gentleman who has long been in a distressed
& valetudinary state & wishes now to have
the best medical assistance- The Gentleman
is a particular friend & acquaintance of
mine, I therefore use the freedom to recommend
him to your good advice & kind attention.

As he sets off this Morning for Edinburgh
& as the History of his Complaints is very long
I find it impossible to write a proper Case
but this is the less necessary as he can give
you an accurate account & detail of his
Complaints himself, besides Dr. Hamilton has
the History of his situation for the three past
years of his Distress- I am with Respect

Dear Sir
Your Much Obliged Friend
And Very Humble Servant
