Dear Sir,

Miss Ellison has very regu¬
larly pursued your medicines and Di¬
rections with manifest advantage -
Her nervous system is less irritable and
notwithstanding we had an uncommon
hot summer yet she suffer'd less uneasi¬
ness in her Head than formerly; and her Com¬
plaints in general are not so soon pro¬
duc'd by the usual exciting Causes --
The aperient solution had its proper Effect,
and by its use, and bathing her Head with
cold water along with occasional Bleedings
the sense of Fullness in the Vessels of the
Head has not been so frequent --

Miss Ellison wishes to know if you wou'd
advise her to repeat the aperient solution
for three or four weeks in the spring and
if you wou'd have her still continue the
strengthening Electuary & Tincture or if
any change in the Course is necessary --

[Page 2]

Your Answer will be very acceptable
to our Patient, who presents her Compliments
and a Fee of two Guineas.

Believe me to be with great Esteem
Dear Sir your obedient Servant
Wm. Ingham

P.S. I wish you had given me a Com¬
mission to purchase Horses for you
three months ago and then I might
have procur'd in our Fairs what wou'd
probably have suited you but they
being over before I reciev'd your last
Letter have made sound Horses quite
scarce -
