Dear Doctor

This is only to put you in
mind that it is expected you will send
out the most approved Selzer water for
Mr Glassford.

Probably John Dunlop has already
brought his brother Hutchison Dunlop to
have your Advice – I never have got
a view of his Case further than to entitle
me to give him a Certificate – His Nephew
S. Dunlop is in too much familiarity with
him to get him to talk fully & correctly.
We hope therefore you will be so good as
to be very particular with him, & send us
your Opinion & Advice Minutely: other¬
wise He may not be brought to follow them.
I hope you get well to Edinburgh – the heat al¬
most suffocated me – we had a good deal of
Thunder & Rain in the Night I am &c

yours
A. Stevenson
