Dear Sir

I have now been confined to bed for
more than three weeks by some very troublesome
complaints and am therfore {illeg} anxious
to have the assistance of your very usefull Father

Tho' the eminent Doctor is abundantly
attentive to every case which comes before him
yet in hopes that he will be no less so to mine
when he knows that it is the case of one who is
a real friend and wellwisher of his sons I have
taken the liberty of troubling you with the
inclosed case which I beg you will be kind enough
to deliver to him in order that I may have
his judicious opinion as ↑soon as↑ possible

with real esteem and regard I am
Dear sir
yours most
sincerly
