Sir

I am just now returnd from Visiting
Mr Livingston, from whom I received your last letter
with the prescriptions for him now of which except
the oil he has had any occasion for, Neither the Cough
nor pains of his side having given him the smallest
disturbance, nor has he any need of taking any
Laxative, his only Complaint at present being the
pains in his head; for some days after he Came home
it was was much as when you saw releif, on the
Contrary, since Wednesday has greatly increased, so much
as to deprive him of rest these two nights bypast, he is
never entirely free of it, but it is always worst from about
6 O Clock in the Evening till about the sametime in the
Morning the pain strikes him violently through the ears
temples, Eyes, alongst his jaws and neck, and upon the
points of the scapula, I was fond of putting blisters either
behind his ears or neck, he was so himself, but Mr
Livingstone wishes to wait for your opinion which we expect
in Course I am your Most Obedient Servant
