Dear Doctor

As it was my fathers desire that you should
be sufficiently paid. I have taken the liberty to
inclose Three Guineas which I believe is
something more than the usual Fee of a Guinea
for each Consulation. - My Fathers complaint
turn'd out to be Bilious of which I believe the
symptoms were very slight a fortnight before
his death. He departed the 27th October
If it is not too much trouble, shou'd be Glad
of a Line owning the receip of this

I am
Your most obedient Servant
Thos Irwin

Please to direct to me at Oriel College Oxford
Am now just going into the Chaise for that place
