Sir

I have received the Inclosed letter from an Acqaintance
in Stranraer, a very honest man, but rather poor
in Circumstances, Otherwise I have no doubt but
he would have made his fee larger ↑than he↑ has done by
what he writes me -- But if I have no doubt of
your Considering his case & giving advice Equal
to the poor as to the Rich --

As I have some franks for some Gentlemen in
Stranraer, any advice you are pleased to send
I will save you the Trouble, & Mr Shennan the
postage, by Inclosing it. I will send to you
for it, when you think it may be ready
