Dear Sir

I send You in this the Case of a
Gentleman of this Town who is desirous to have Your
Advice, and that as soon as You can conveniently.,
This Account of his Distress is given by Dr. Watson of
this place, and as it seems to be very particular and
sufficiently exact I have nothing to add but that I have
not observed his Pulse full or hard since I attended him, it
indeed frequently becomes quick, on an accidental Pain or
Anxiety seizing him . . His strength is much reduced, and
the approaching Hydropick Complaints are the most alarming.
The Scantiness of Urine has encreased very much of late.
Enclosed is two Guinea Notes-,

I am-,
Dear Sir
Your most Humble Servant
John Mudie

Montrose 1st April 1778

Please sent Your Advice to me-,
