Sir


I Received your's & according to Direct¬
tions increas'd the Dose 5 [quarts?]
I attended him every Two hours to
regulate of sweating, I think he
is no worse, but rather easyer in
the pains of his Neck, his stomach
is very weak, owing I presume to
the Quantity of warm fluids he
takes, which must undoubtedly
Relax greatly, I intend giving him
the third Dose to morrow & increase
it to ʒſs & [quarts?] addition

he is troubl'd with acciditys in his
stomach, which occasions a head ach
for which I give him a little magnesia
that seems to settle it, what ever you
may think necessary to brace his
stomach as ↑his↑ appetite is weak please
advise & oblige
