Sir

Your Letter of the 14.th of this Date I Recieved
and shall Endeavour to follow the Contents thereof as near as
possible. She came over to me upon the 17.th Current when
I that night I began with her; her mouth is very Clean.
The Tonsils a very little swelled, her Gums a little
sore, she spits about a Gill and a half in the 24 hours.
These four Days past has not the Least Effect upon her
Intistines as yet, gets passage Regularly, once and
sometimes twice, in the 24 hours, Began upon Wednesday to
give her the Decoct: Sarsæ – I want to know if I am to
Continue her as above Related; I take it that you only
want it very Gentle and Did not say in your Letter whither
she was to have any spitting or not any further
than her
mouth a Little sore, if it is too high shall Lower it.
But Design to Continue her till I hear from you which
I Expect by Course of post and am
