I am very glad to find that my former prescriptions
succeeded so well with you & I hope I shall be again able
to relieve you. You must immediately apply a pretty large
blistering plaister to the outside of your right hip joint. Let
it be healed up in course without applying any issue Ointment
to keep it open. After it has been healed up for 6 or 7 days
if the pains are not removed you must apply a like plaister
a second time & if in a few days after that your pains are
not removed let me know & I shall think of other means
as well as I can. On the other page I have given a prescrip¬
tion for an oil with which you are every night at bed time
to anoint the inside if the same right Thigh & keeping
