Normalized Text
Dr Gilchrist Concerning Dr Mutter and Mr Mackenzie
Dr Mutter has made a great recovery, and may go further still
tho I do not expect it can ever be entire - His journey has
done him service and he should continue his exercise while
the season allows, but I would not push it during the
Winter as I think cold very bad for Paralyticks. --
I think also the Electricity should be continued & the force
increased especially on the thigh
& leg, but I would still
keep clear of his head. I think
internal Medicines can be of little
service to him but towards Winter some bark
& Aromaticks
may be of some benefit ----
Mr Mackenzie should go abroad for the Winter &
Madeira when a person can be accomodated in a private
family is the first place in the World.
