Letter from Dr (Prof) Alexander Stevenson regarding Nanny (Agnes) Hamilton of Westburn who has suffered from urinary and stomach complaints which he fears indicate a fistula between the bladder and the intestine as a result of using a clyster. She has been examined by Mr Parlane, a surgeon. Stevenson also mentions an acquaintance of Cullen's, James Muir, who is ill with asthma as well as mentioning his own brother and a William McCall. 7 February 1762
