DOC IDSummaryDate
[DOC ID:5460]
Reply headed 'Chevalier' (prescription is titled 'The Chevalier'), a patient suffering from 'disorder of his imagination and judgement'.18? May 1787

[DOC ID:5462]
Reply to an unnamed male correspondent, in form of a cover-note for a response (not immediately present) concerning an unnamed patient. Cullen apologises for his delayed response to a request for advice which is due to his graduation duties. Probably the cover letter for Document ID:5460, a very substantial response concerning a 'Chevalier" who is mentally disturbed. This association is supported by Cullen's allusion to the 'patient's friends' in the cover-note, a phrase which elsewhere invariably implies that he is addressing interested parties in a case of mental disturbance.18 May 1787
