Letter from William Andrews, Woodside near Hamilton, on his own case. Letter is dated 25th November, with a postscript dated 27th. He discusses the progress of his paralytic complaint, and a sore mouth and throat. He mentions exercise in a covered cart, with deleted phrase referring to it having belonged to a brother of Cullen. He also requests a certificate of ill-health, so that he can apply to the Treasury for an increase in his allowance. He fears his salary from the Chapel (St Andrews-by-the-Green, Glasgow) may cease because he cannot carry out his duties. 25 November 1787
