She has been treated with electricity, but now Cullen advocates pouring cold water on her shoulder from a tea-pot. He also offers advice on cold bathing for Mr MacKnight, who suffers from a catarrhal chest complaint, but has 'no tubercle' on the lungs. 15 August 1783
