Reply to William Ingham, concerning the case of Mr Hudson. Cullen hopes 'his corpulency is not increased'. He believes the pains shooting from his arm across his chest are 'more spasmodic than humoral and therefore less dangerous', but advises him to use the medicines and regimen prescribed in 1784, and attaches further pectoral prescriptions. He also asks about a female patient: 'I am afraid you had no good to tell me with respect to Miss Bell, but I wish you had told me her state whatever it is'. 15 January 1788
