He suggests a 'weakness of nerves' as the sole ailment, acquired partly from her constitution and partly from 'the accidents which have happened'. He recommends the avoidance of cold and of any activity which 'might flurry her spirits', and when she is in Ireland, the 'frequent use of cold bathing' with the 'waters of Marrow'.	6 April 1782

[DOC ID:2225]	Copy of a letter from Mrs Wallis, describing her own case. The copy was made by Mr Wallis, of 'the part of Mrs Wallis's letter which the Dr was so kind as to desire him to transcribe' The letter refers to 'Sandback' as a place. Is it possibly 'Sandbank' which is a village in the Cowal Peninsula in Argyll, but not linked as uncertain.	20? May 1782

[DOC ID:556]	Reply to Mr Wallis concerning Mrs Wallis', who is suffering from eruptions in addition to her other ailments. Cullen recommends she 'bear with these eruptions' until her constitution is somewhat strengthened, as they may be useful for it. Wallis and his wife are presumably in Ireland but there is no firm evidence for this in the letters associated with the case.	24 May 1782?
